Yellow Split Pea with Sayur Manis

Yellow split pea = 200g (soaked for 30 mins)
Garlic = 2 pips ( chopped)
Onion = 1 small (chopped)
Mustard seeds = 1 tsp
Cayenne pepper = 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves = 2 sprigs
Sayur manis (shu cai choy) = 2 cups (packed)
- Boil the yellow peas in salted water until soft.
- Saute onion, garlic, mustard seeds and curry leaves till fragrant.
- Add in the peas and cayenne pepper. Stir for a few minutes.
- Add in the vegetables and mix well.
